Custom chandelier made from a solid tree root

This unique chandelier was made to individual order using a massive, expressive tree root as its foundation. During production we preserved the material’s natural form, relief and character, transforming it into a functional and decorative lighting object.
The process began by selecting a suitable root. It was carefully cleaned, dried and treated while preserving its natural curves, branches and authentic wood texture. Every fixing and technical solution was adapted to the specific form, because a solid-wood chandelier like this cannot be produced from a standard template.
The customer chose the bulb design and their arrangement, taking part in shaping the final visual appearance. We technically adapted this concept to the form of the tree root so that the lighting would complement the natural material harmoniously and preserve the unity of the entire structure.
The result was an exclusive wooden chandelier that functions both as lighting and as a distinctive interior feature. It fits beautifully in a living room, dining area, country home, guest house, sauna relaxation room, restaurant or another individual interior project.
