DISTANCE CONTRACT
For the online shop www.vvwood.lv
Effective from 13 June 2026.
This distance contract governs the legal relationship between SIA “vvwood” and a buyer who purchases goods from www.vvwood.lv without being physically present with the seller at the same time.
1. Parties to the contract
The seller is SIA “vvwood”, registration No. 40203631725.
The buyer is a natural or legal person who places an order in the online shop.
If the buyer is a consumer, consumer protection legislation applies.
2. Conclusion of the contract
The distance contract is considered concluded when the buyer places an order in the online shop, agrees to the terms and SIA “vvwood” confirms the order or receives payment, depending on the procedure stated in the online shop.
3. Product information
Product descriptions, prices, main characteristics, materials, dimensions and other essential information are provided with each product.
Photographs are illustrative, particularly for natural wood products whose colour, texture and grain may vary.
4. Custom-made goods
If goods are made to the buyer’s specifications or are clearly personalised, the buyer must check the dimensions, materials, finish, colour, engraving, configuration and other agreed information before confirming the order.
The right of withdrawal may not apply to such goods in the cases provided by applicable law.
5. Price and payment
Product prices are stated in euros.
If SIA “vvwood” is registered for VAT, prices include VAT unless otherwise stated with the relevant price.
Available payment methods are stated in the online shop or invoice.
6. Order confirmation and fulfilment
After receiving an order, SIA “vvwood” may send the buyer an order confirmation, invoice or request for additional information.
If the order cannot be fulfilled, SIA “vvwood” informs the buyer and, if payment has already been made, refunds the amount received.
7. Delivery
Delivery terms, charges and timeframes are described in the document “Delivery Terms” and are stated before the order is confirmed.
8. Right of withdrawal
A consumer has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods, except in cases provided by applicable law, for example where goods are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.

9. Non-conformity and warranty
If goods do not conform to the contract, the consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by applicable law.
Notice of non-conformity should be sent to info@vvwood.lv with the order number, a description and photographs where possible.
10. Liability
SIA “vvwood” is not responsible for loss arising from inaccurate information supplied by the buyer or improper use, storage or care of the goods.
The buyer is responsible for using the goods for their intended purpose and in accordance with instructions.
11. Personal data processing
Personal data is processed for order fulfilment, communication, accounting, customer support and compliance with legal obligations.

12. Dispute resolution
Disputes should be resolved through negotiation.
If no agreement can be reached, a consumer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or use other dispute resolution mechanisms provided by applicable law.
