RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
For the online shop www.vvwood.lv
Effective from 13 June 2026.
This document sets out the procedure for consumers to exercise the right of withdrawal when purchasing goods from the online shop www.vvwood.lv.
1. Right to withdraw from the contract
A consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.
2. Exercising the right of withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must send SIA “vvwood” a clear statement of the decision to withdraw from the contract before the withdrawal period expires.
The statement may be sent to info@vvwood.lv.
The consumer may use the withdrawal form provided below, but its use is not mandatory.
3. Returning goods
After sending the withdrawal statement, the consumer must send or hand the goods back to SIA “vvwood” without undue delay and no later than 14 days after SIA “vvwood” has been informed of the withdrawal.
Return address: Helēnas iela 33–3, Alūksne, LV-4301, Latvia.
Please contact SIA “vvwood” before sending the goods so that the return method can be agreed.
4. Refund procedure
SIA “vvwood” refunds payments received from the consumer, including standard delivery costs if such costs were charged, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the consumer’s withdrawal statement.
SIA “vvwood” may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back or the consumer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back.
The refund is made using the same payment method used by the consumer for the original transaction, unless the parties agree otherwise.
5. Return costs
The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods unless SIA “vvwood” has agreed to cover it or the online shop states otherwise.
The cost of returning bulky goods may depend on their dimensions, weight and location.
6. Diminished value of the goods
The consumer may inspect the goods only to the extent that would be possible in an ordinary shop.
The consumer is responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
7. Cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases provided by applicable law, including where goods are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.
This may apply to goods made to individual dimensions or with a special colour, finish, configuration, engraving or other personalised solution.
