DELIVERY TERMS
For the online shop www.vvwood.lv
Effective from 13 June 2026.
These delivery terms set out how SIA “vvwood” delivers goods purchased from the online shop www.vvwood.lv.
1. Delivery area
SIA “vvwood” delivers goods within the Republic of Latvia.
Delivery outside Latvia is available by individual agreement, subject to prior confirmation of availability, timeframe and cost.
2. Delivery methods
Available delivery methods are shown during checkout.
Depending on the dimensions, weight and availability of the goods and the delivery address, the following may be offered:
* courier delivery to the buyer’s specified address;
* freight delivery for bulky or heavy goods;
* collection from a SIA “vvwood” collection point, where offered;
* another delivery method agreed individually.
3. Delivery charge
The delivery charge depends on the delivery method, address, dimensions and weight of the goods and the size of the order.
The delivery charge is shown before the order is confirmed.
If the charge cannot be calculated automatically, SIA “vvwood” agrees it individually with the buyer before fulfilment.
Where free delivery is stated for a specific product in the online shop or advertising materials, it applies only within the territory and scope stated in that offer.
4. Delivery time
Goods in stock are usually handed over for delivery within 1–5 business days after payment is received or the order is confirmed.
For custom-made goods, the delivery time is agreed separately, taking account of production time and order complexity.
Unless the parties have agreed another delivery period, goods are delivered to a consumer without undue delay and no later than 30 days after conclusion of the contract.
5. Buyer’s obligations on delivery
The buyer must:
* provide an accurate delivery address, email address and telephone number;
* be reachable at the time of delivery or arrange an authorised recipient;
* check the external condition of the packaging, the number of units and any visible damage on receipt;
* immediately notify SIA “vvwood” of damage by sending a description and photographs to info@vvwood.lv.
6. Bulky and heavy goods
Bulky or heavy goods are delivered to a location that the vehicle can access safely and lawfully.
Carrying goods indoors, carrying them upstairs, assembly or special unloading is not included unless separately agreed.
7. Characteristics of natural wood products
SIA “vvwood” goods may be made from natural wood and wood-based materials.
Wood colour, grain, knots, texture, aroma and other natural characteristics may differ from photographs.
Such natural variations are not in themselves considered defects where the goods correspond to the description and are fit for their intended purpose.
8. Inaccurate delivery information and unaccepted goods
If the buyer provides inaccurate information or cannot be reached at the time of delivery, SIA “vvwood” is not responsible for the resulting delay.
Repeat delivery may be subject to an additional charge agreed before redelivery.
9. Transfer of risk
Goods are considered delivered when they are handed to the buyer or a person designated by the buyer.
From that moment, the buyer is responsible for proper storage and use of the goods.
10. Dispute resolution
Questions about delivery may be sent to info@vvwood.lv.
Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation; consumers may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre in accordance with applicable law.
